Biology 1610

This class was by far the best class I have ever taken. From basic chemistry to the details of cellular respiration and DNA replication, I learned more than I thought possible. I believe this class will truly help me advance in my school career and land me in my dream job. Certain topics and concepts have prepared me for both Physiology and Organic Chemistry. I am excited to find out that I love Biology even more than I had originally thought. This is definitely a good sign, because I plan on getting my degree in Kinesiology in order to attend PA school. The concepts were complex, but were explained very well. I also learned some awesome study skills during the course of this class.

Reflection
My Work

Below, I have posted a few examples of my work done in this class.

This first one is a fun little worksheet on SImple Mendelian Genetics. This was awesome because it allowed me to practice actual problems before being tested on it.

This second piece of work below is a take home test we were instructed to complete as a group. It really prepared me for exam 3, as I was able to see exactly what I knew and did not know. My group and I got a couple of these answers wrong, but I was able to study these concepts a bit more heavily in return.

Below is a drawn out represention of cellular respiration, in detail. By drawing it out, it made it much easier for me to remember come test time. It shows glycolysis, the linker step, krebs cycle, the electron transport chain, and chemiosmosis.

During another group project, my group and I drew out the steps of both mitosis and meiosis I & II.
